Reconstruction of Kokshetau Airport

Airport reconstruction

Reconstruction of the airport started in 2010, with financing from the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After three years of works Kokshetau Airport was actually built anew: new runway 2850 metres long, new terminal apron, access road and branch railway line were built, passenger terminal was fully reconstructed and the whole infrastructure of fuel and lubrication materials service was created anew.

Integral Systems won a tender for supply of all information systems for the airport:

  • Airport operational database IS-AODB
  • Departure Control System IS-DCS
  • Flight Information Display System IS-FIDS
  • System of automated calculation of aircraft weight and balance IS-W&B 560

Implementation of IS-AODB and IS-DCS systems enabled to automatize preparation of all commercial flight documentation: loadsheet, load assignment, baggage and passenger register, passenger manifest. Besides, implementation of IS-DCS system of registration enabled to handle flights of any airline and to meet their demands related to exchange passengers data and standard SITA messages.

Specialists of Integral Systems together with our specialists carried out transfer and acceptance procedure in the presence of airport representatives and numerous commissions of the customer. Beyond that specialists of Integral Systems fulfilled, without compensation, additional requirements of the airport that had not been included in the initial project. As a result of this collaborative work information systems of the airport were successfully commissioned to the customer among the first parts of the project.
